Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences (CSSHS) seeks to appoint a Laboratory Manager in Physiology and Health. The post holder will facilitate the support of high-quality teaching and learning, research and innovation activity across our suite of physiology laboratories. Applicants with experience of developing and supporting exercise prescription for patient groups are particularly welcome, as outlined in the Clinical Exercise Physiology UK Standards. What we are looking for
We are looking with someone with a passion for exercise and cardiovascular physiology. The individual should have a proven track record of managing projects to completion and show the aptitude to manage budgets and lead laboratory teams. They should have knowledge of statutory Health & Safety requirements and experience managing the health and safety of a laboratory working with high-risk populations and processes (e.g. clinical cohorts).
