The opportunity
Based in our state-of-the-art facility near to the heart of the capital city, Cardiff School of Management (CSM) is a dynamic and professionally focussed school offering a wide range of accredited qualifications from Foundation through to Doctorate across multiple discipline areas. Established subject areas include Business, Management, Leadership, Marketing, Fashion Marketing, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Banking, Tourism, Hospitality and Events - recently augmented with the addition of a Qualifying Law Degree (LLB).
We provide our students with a unique experience embodied in the Cardiff Met EDGE which develops in students the high levels of knowledge, skills and experience needed to become Ethical, Digital, Global and Entrepreneurial individuals in the 21st century. EDGE is at the heart of our offer with each subject specialist taught programme wrapped around this core set of graduate competencies.
Cardiff School of Management was the first Management School in Wales to be awarded the prestigious Small Business Charter in recognition of its work with business and its commitment to supporting students in enterprise and entrepreneurship activities. We are proud that our faculty are actively engaged in high quality, high impact applied research and knowledge transfer, both to business and to government policy makers.
Working as part of a team of administrators, this key role supports the Programme Directors, Year Tutors and Heads of Department with high level administrative support in the day-to-day delivery of programmes within the School. This post requires any individual with the ability to effectively co-ordinate the administration of programmes using influencing and negotiation skills to ensure the facilitation of a professional service to both staff and students.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
