Please note that this vacancy is available to members of Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of South Wales (including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama) only Business Analyst – South East Wales Mental Health Partnership Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of South Wales (including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama) have been funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales to develop a shared programme of work which will improve access to mental health support for higher education students across our region. The project aims to enhance collaboration between university support services and local mental health services in cases where students are presenting as especially risky or unwell. We will do this through strengthening partnership between our universities, our Students’ Unions, local NHS services and other stakeholders. This will help us to work better together and to find and address barriers to accessing support for our students. The Business Analyst will support the development and delivery of the partnership objectives between the University partners, their Students’ Unions and local NHS services using appropriate business analysis techniques in order to identify and analyse feasible options and recommend solutions. Responsible for the elicitation, analysis and communication of requirements, and contribute to the development of business cases for business improvement and service design initiatives. The post is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for 12 months. Salary: £33,797 to 40,322 per annum (Grade 6) It is assumed this post will be home working for the 12 months of the contracted period. There may, at some stage in the project, be a requirement to attend meetings across the South East Wales region therefore some travel may be required at that time.
