The Opportunity
As School Administrator (Helpdesk and Business Operations) you will play a key part of a busy and well-established Business Operations team, within the Cardiff School of Management.
You will be a flexible, committed, and enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the commitment to providing a first class bi-lingual professional service to all visitors to the school. In having valued experience of working as part of a team and your own initiative, you will also provide support for the various activities of Business Operations team.
To provide a professional and efficient first point of contact service for all visitors to Cardiff School of Management.
To deal with general School enquiries, and directing students to the appropriate supportive functions within the Llandaff Campus, i-zone, Global Engagement Office, Academic Registry etc.
To assist the Team Leader (Business Operations), School Support Officer (Student Mobility and Off-Campus Activity), School Support Officer (Finance and Business Operations) with business operations tasks as appropriate.
To co-ordinate and manage the maintenance work requests and other health and safety related issues on a school register and prepare action plans and ad hoc reports for School and University Health and Safety Committees in conjunction with the Team Leader (Business Operations and assist with all scheduled inspections.
