Global Engagement is at the heart of the University’s international work, supporting international students through their student journey; working with global partners to deliver Cardiff Met programmes overseas, and providing international opportunities for students, staff and partners, fostering a global outlook and cultural awareness.
As a key member of the Global Engagement team, you will have significant input into all issues relating to the operational function of the Directorate. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Global Engagement, Head of Global Outreach and Operations, Head of TNE Business Development, Head of International Recruitment and Head of Global Student Advice Centre and will be responsible for representing the University overseas as required.
Working as part of the Global Outreach and Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Global Engagement Directorate’s compliance obligations to external organisations are met. Working in a dynamic, motivated and friendly team, you will contribute to the Global Outreach work of the Directorate, implementing new initiatives and communicating the achievements.
You will be forensic in detail, competent in accessing and managing a variety of systems, and proactive in your desire to improve both our systems and our processes.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
