Cardiff Met Sport is the driving force behind sport, physical activity, health & wellbeing in Wales’ Capital City. We run and offer a range of sporting opportunities for children from our communities on the Cardiff Met Cyncoed Campus. We also lead the strategic direction and delivery of a wide variety of cutting-edge development programmes across schools, communities, clubs & workforce, and health & wellbeing both on our campuses and throughout Cardiff. To continue to achieve this, we need ‘game changers’, people with drive, passion, creativity and flair who see hurdles rather than problems, can think differently and want to make a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives, in Wales and beyond.
You will work alongside our head coaches to deliver and coach our junior sport programmes during evenings and weekends (where applicable). You will help build and maintain a strong relationship with both the participants and community, ensuring all activities and sessions are operated safely. This post is offered on a casual basis.
We are specifically looking to recruit Basketball, Athletics and Gymnastics Coaches.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent participant experience.
