Cardiff Met Sport & Sport Cardiff are the driving force behind sport, physical activity, health & wellbeing in Wales’ Capital City. We work across the City and in partnership with a range of local, regional and national partners to develop and manage sector leading sport facilities including, the National Indoor Athletics Centre, Tennis Centre, Archers Arena and a number of 21st Century Schools. We also lead the strategic direction and delivery of a wide variety of cutting-edge development programmes across schools, communities, clubs & workforce, and health & wellbeing both on our campuses and throughout Cardiff. The Move More programme is an exciting new partnership between sport, physical activity and health. We want to improve the connection between the exercise referral pathway, social prescribing and community physical activity. This post will play a vital role in evidencing the need and demonstrating the impact of the Move More programme to improve outcomes for inactive populations.
You will work closely with the Move More Manager to design and implement an evaluation framework for the Move More programme. You will be work collaboratively with NERS, social prescribing agencies and community physical activity providers to support an insight led and evidenced based approach to the programme. You will be responsible for the development of impact and evaluation reports relating to Sport Cardiff’s strategic framework, Cardiff & Vale Move More Eat Well plan and Building a Healthier Wales strategy. You will also be required to support the insight needs and evaluation of wider Sport Cardiff programmes and initiatives.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
