The opportunity
Cardiff School of Art & Design recently celebrating its 150th anniversary, is a community of learning, that enjoys excellent facilities and is proud of its cross- disciplinary curriculum and research. The School currently has 13 inter-linked undergraduate programmes in a unique cross-disciplinary undergraduate scheme, and 8 inter-linked Masters awards.
You will play a pivotal role in the School by providing key administrative skills and supporting the student experience. Embedded in the CREATE Team (Creative Research, Enterprise and Teaching Engagement) your responsibilities include maintaining and developing good record management & university documentation, facilitating communication between teams and central units, coordinating events, supporting committees, processing orders and day-to-day administration of project budgets, and supporting the Research Degree Student experience.
You will also embrace technology and digital platforms to improve shared access to resources and enable excellent communication to support hybrid and remote working.
You will be proactive and stay well-informed of university regulations relating to your role.
You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience.
