The opportunity
Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy (CSESP), located on both the Cyncoed and Llandaff Campuses, offers a diverse and stimulating range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in education, policing, media and journalism, English and creative writing, social work and social policy. The School is home to the Cardiff Partnership for Initial Teacher Education, one of the largest centres of teacher education and training in the UK and building on over 60 years’ experience and an enviable reputation for the quality of teacher training provision. The School has made significant progress in the development of a strong and sustainable research environment in recent years. This has been achieved through a systematic increase in our research capacity, volume, quality and impact facilitated by improving the research infrastructure, investing in and developing research with impact, and supporting an open-access, integrity-based and collaborative research culture.
We are seeking to recruit exceptional, suitably qualified Associate Tutors who are available to teach in Health and Social Care and/or Housing, on an occasional or sessional basis, it is essential that you have a significant grasp of the academic and/or professional nature of their subject and can communicate this with clarity, academic rigour and enthusiasm.
