The opportunity
The Authentic Curry Company Ltd is a well-established SME based in Hirwaun, Aberdare, with a long history of manufacturing and delivering a range of pre-prepared meals from around the world, including pasta, low calorie meals and multi-portion formats for smaller appetites. The company manufactures bespoke products for a variety of customers from major retailers, foodservice, schools, and business-to-business as well as products sold under their own brand.
The Authentic Curry Company are looking for a knowledge transfer affiliate to join their team immediately to support both new product development activity and form an instrumental part of their technical and development team in maintaining online specifications for raw materials and finished products.
The Cardiff Metropolitan University Food Industry Centre, in collaboration with Food Innovation Wales, has a series of fixed-term opportunities for Knowledge Exchange Affiliates to work within Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) companies in the food manufacturing sector. The knowledge transfer Affiliate will work with Industrial Supervisors in an approved partner organization (The Authentic Curry Co) to support a bespoke project in a range of areas within this sector of the Welsh economy.
