The opportunity
You will provide strategic leadership and direction in developing the Business Improvement Services (BIS) team, to develop programme and project management functions here at Cardiff Metropolitan University. You will use your comprehensive experience and expertise to develop and embed an effective PMO function and play a key role in ensuring that the University’s transformation projects are delivered effectively and with full benefits realisation. You will also manage programme resources, continuously evaluating and introducing appropriate best practice in process improvement and effective programme and project management and governance.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who can lead, develop, manage and motivate teams and individuals, with a demonstrable understanding of programme management, with highly developed communication skills and experience of change management. You need to be able to operate comfortably within a matrix management structure, with the ability to promote effective co-operative working relationships.
